Differentiated instruction (sometimes referred to as differentiated learning) involves providing students with different avenues to acquiring content; to processing, constructing, or making sense of ideas; and to developing teaching materials so that all students within a classroom can learn effectively, regardless of differences in ability

This topic was added to the state teaching standards in 2010.  This course provides exposure to relevant information regarding differentiated instruction and its effective implementation into the classroom setting.

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive 15 CPE hours that can be applied to the 150 hours necessary for standard teacher certification renewal.


To provide teachers with additional exposure to differentiated instruction and its effective implementation and incorporation into classroom instruction.
